S**T It’s July And I Don’t Have A Beach Body!

beach body ready

We have all been there, at the start of the year you make a new years resolution that you will be beach body ready for your summer trip away. As time goes by this goal takes a back seat until it suddenly hits you….. I’m going away in 6 weeks time.

You Are Not Alone

First of all everyone does it so you are not alone. Many people will attempt to improve their body image for their well deserved holiday. Most people do not get to where they want to be and half of them won’t even start working towards their goal. Do not worry, you are not the only person on the beach who has got to July and started to panic.

Don’t Stress

If this is the case then don’t stress yourself out. You are going on holiday to chill out, have a good time, and recharge your batteries. A holiday is a time to get away from the hustle and bustle of your normal lives, so stressing yourself out about your body image defeats the objective of getting to the beach.

Confidence Is Key

Confidence is the key component to a good body image. If you look at all of the influential people who you aspire to look like, do they hold themselves well? The answer is yes. They smile, they glow, and they give off positive energy. If you take a plus size model, people still want to look like them because they are confident, and confidence is beauty.

Don’t worry about the fact that you haven’t completed your fitness goal, instead focus on being happy with your body and this will exude confidence.

Nobody Cares

People are too busy having a good time on their own holiday to be analysing everyone else’s body image. You should do the same too. Concentrate on having a good time and don’t worry, as people are focussing on their own holiday.

Get your sunglasses on, remember the suncream, and go and jump on an inflatable.

Start Now

It doesn’t mean that you have to wait until next year to begin your journey towards your dream body. Take action now and start working on your health, you will soon start to glow from inside to out, even if your holiday is only two weeks away.

An improvement to your health is a lifelong decision, it is good to get fit for a holiday to kickstart your fitness campaign however it doesn’t mean that your plans to a healthier you should be aborted if your holiday is coming up. You can start a journey towards a healthier life now, regardless of the time of the year.

A Few Other Things

We live in a country where most of the time we keep our clothes on. Exercise and nutrition should be firstly done to improve your health so you can enjoy more holidays into your older years. You should be healthy all year round and not just so you can look good on the beach for one week in a year.

Don’t stress, be happy, as having a laugh and enjoying yourself is much more beneficial for our bodies than stressing over the fact that your arms aren’t toned or you don’t have a six back.

A simple way to have a beach body

  1. Have a body
  2. Go to the beach

Health should be the most important thing. Good health is achieved by being active, exercising regularly, eating well, and by being happy.

Self enjoyment and self-confidence go hand in hand and you will come back from your holiday refreshed, positive, and full of happy memories.

Enjoy your holidays!
